The Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighter’s
Association needs your membership! All Volunteer Fire
Departments or Companies, Combination Volunteer/Career Fire
Departments, Suburban Fire Protection Districts or Rural Fire
Protection Districts, and Industrial Fire Brigades are eligible
for membership in the NSVFA.
The annual NSVFA membership enrollment
period begins July 1, 2007. This is truly an affordable
membership opportunity. Your membership will speak as a
stronger voice in guiding the future of all Fire & Emergency
Services in Nebraska and give individual members a voice. To

Payment is due with enrollment. You can make a difference.
NSVFA MEMBERSHIP DUES <HAVE CHANGED>
A new dues structure is in place for the
current enrollment period of July 1, 2007, through June 30,
2008.
100% MEMBERSHIP Departments:

Dues for 100% NSVFA membership
departments (departments enrolling all their members as
members of the NSVFA) for the membership period of July 1,
2007, through June 30, 2008, shall be $15.00 per member. As
a benefit of membership, each NSVFA member whose dues were
paid as part of the 100% department membership shall receive
an annual subscription to the official NSVFA newspaper.

100% Membership Departments may add
additional subscriptions for non-NSVFA members at a cost of
$5.00 per subscription i.e. Board Members as long as
subscription payments are made at the same time dues are
paid.
MEMBER ONLY Departments:

“Member Only” Departments, those who
register only the department and fire chief for the
membership period of July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008,
will pay dues of $110.00 per department/fire chief and shall
have included with this membership one copy of the official
NSVFA newspaper publication mailed to the address listed in
the NSVFA membership data base for the fire chief.

“Member Only” Departments (less than
100% departments) may, after the Department dues are paid,
add additional members to the NSVFA by paying an additional
$15.00 for each member added and these added members shall
also receive, as a benefit of membership, a monthly
subscription to the official NSVFA newspaper publication.

Member only departments may add
additional subscriptions for non-NSVFA members at a cost of
$10.00 per subscription i.e. Board Members as long as
subscription payments are made at the time dues are paid.
MORE INFORMATION ON NEWSPAPER
SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR ALL NSVFA MEMBERS:

The newspaper subscriptions will run
from October 1 to September 30 of each calendar year.

NSVFA members must be enrolled by
September 1, 2007, to receive the first publication.
Members dues paid after September 1, 2007, will remain at
the annual fee established by the NSVFA Executive Board and
will receive remaining newspaper issues until September 30
of the following year with no pro-rating of the membership
dues.
One month should be allowed for processing
addresses for subscriptions to take effect. It is extremely
important that correct postal addresses are furnished for all
members. Renewing memberships need to check their enclosed
rosters closely for correct postal addresses!! |
