NSVFA Posting Policy


NSVFA EVENT / INFORMATIONAL POSTING POLICY:

This web site is available to all NSVFA committees and member fire departments as a promotional tool for various events they may be hosting and relevant news items.  The following procedure has been established to have an item accepted for posting on the NSVFA web site.

  1. Submit an email request to the NSVFA office at nsvfa@alltel.net for perusal of appearance and for approval.
     

  2. To help maintain and promote a professional appearance for the association and to assist the office in processing requests as quickly as possible, events should be submitted in a professional manner in either of the following two ways.

  1. If an event has already been posted on another web site, please provide the URL (http:// address) in the submitted email so that the information can be reviewed by this method and upon approval, linked to the NSVFA web site.  Links will be removed from the NSVFA web site following the calendar date of the event.
     

  2. Or, if not already established on another web site, submit by email a poster or flyer or it may be as simple as submitting a one line sentence.  Please insure that the poster or flyer includes the who, what, where and when details.
     

  3. Very Important -- All submittals shall include a contact name with email address and telephone number.

  1. Simply stated, the office cannot accept lengthy emails with lists of details which must be formatted before attaching to the web.
     

  2. Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighter’s Association Auxiliary members should submit their web posting requests through the State Auxiliary President for approval and forwarding to the web host.
